How to Donate or scrap my car
While a charity or nonprofit organisation may only accept cars that are up and running, most will accept just about anything. This means that cars that cannot be driven due to mechanical or collision issues will typically be accepted, so if you need to donate a junk car, you’re in luck.
Donated good quality cars and motorbikes that are still functional will be sold at auction.
The first step is to contact us, either by calling 0300 80 80 900 or emailing info@breastcancersupport.org.uk When you do this, it would be very helpful and save time if you could have the following details to hand:
The registration number of the vehicle
The make and model of the vehicle
The tax expiry date
The MOT expiry date
Whether the vehicle has been in recent use
The location of the vehicle
Your contact phone number
Mileage & if possible a picture (optional)
When you contact us, we will explain the next steps to you. Usually your vehicle can be collected within 1 week. We will keep you informed and let you know what the sale of your vehicle has made for Breast Cancer Support.
